She was nervous, can you tell?
Papa, Owen & I all picked Audrey from school we had to pry information out of her already! But she reported that she "had a great day and didn't do any bad things", loved going to music and lunch, and didn't go potty all day long. But what she liked the most was the phone calls she got asking about her day. She seemed to talk a lot more on the phone, while we had to drag details out of her! I assumed she was going to crash the second she got home, but nope. She requested to watch "Tangled" in her Rapunzel pjs she got for her birthday while eating the rest of her lunch (she's a slow eater and didn't finish once last week before the whistle blew to clean up and go outside), she even played outside on her new bike all before bedtime! She still hasn't taken naps since starting school like I expected, but she does fall asleep the second her head hits the pillow.
On her second day she had a real smile and was definitely less nervous! By Friday you'd think she was a pro and today on her 4th day, I had to beg for a hug goodbye. And just for the record, I didn't cry until I picked her up on the first day (thank goodness for sunglasses) and every day since I just get a little choked up after seeing her walk in the building and seeing her come out at the end of the day. I know she's fine, never had any doubt...and so far, so good!
