July Fun

On the 4th of July we started out our day with a pancake breakfast at church followed by a parade of the kids with their "wheels" of choice all decked out for the 4th.





That evening we caught a fireworks show here in Gilbert with Abuelita, Grandpa Wellman and Uncle Hunter.




July continued with a couple weeks of swimming lessons, Tuesday summer movies, and some Thursday Kids Clubs. We made another trip to the Children's Museum, but I guess I didn't have my camera then...too bad since Owen joined us this time. (I left him at with Auntie Rae Lynne in June.) Some more splash pad fun at a less crowded one under the water tower in downtown Gilbert! Going in the evenings is the best time!

One night at bedtime Owen hops right into Audrey's bed lays down & starts pulling up the covers. He's very serious about sleeping there, so I tell the kids that if they can be quiet they can both sleep in the bed. I think for sure there is NO way that they will be quiet. 10 minutes later I realize there has not been a peep and they were fast asleep. Talk about a parenting plan backfiring. He's since fallen asleep with her a couple more times. But they are just too cute!

We also had some visitors this month! Grandpa & Grandma Giberson (my dad & stepmom), Uncle Will & Uncle Kyle were here for the last week of the month. We had fun hanging out together, playing games, watching some movies, going to the zoo, and just catching up! We saw more family because one my cousins who lives here is getting married.

The biggest event of the month, Audrey's 5th Birthday! More info, pictures to come!
