Owen's 2 Year Stats

2 years: 30lbs -- 75%, 35.5 in -- 75%

At 2 years old Owen:

• talks in mostly 2/3 word phrases, sentences.
• repeats anything he hears.
• has a TERRIBLE screaming habit. Even though he can talk more, he still prefers to scream really loud and terribly high pitched when he's not getting his way. Someone please tell me how to stop the screaming!!! Yikes!!!
  
• has been completely pacifier free since May.
• still takes 1 nap in the afternoon, but attempts to skip it a lot.
• got the the side rail taken off his crib a few months ago since he kept climbing out. Before we found the bed rail we had from Audrey, he could be found asleep in all sorts of positions and places around his room.
  

• still loves music and dancing and now added singing along.
• loves to watch "Elmo" {Sesame Street}, "Why" {Super Why!}, "I-tines" {Little Einsteins}, and "Coo-coos" {Thomas the Train}.
  
• like a lot of boys, has really developed his obsession for trains. But this is not surprising at all as Opa is really into trains, and Papa too.
• loves walking Audrey to "cool" and seeing all the "cool buses".
• whenever anyone mentions Audrey's name during the day, no matter what you're saying, Owen automatically says "NO! Audee cool." {No! Audrey's at school.}
  
• has everyone believing he is the quietest, sweetest kid around. Whenever he goes to someone's house for babysitting co-op I'm in, or people see him at church, they always say "He is just sooo cute. He's soo good, he barely makes a peep and plays so well with the other kids." Then I always give the mom answer and say "Come home with me." ;o)
• is a great little brother, he lets Audrey dress him up anytime.
  

• wears 24 months/2T clothes, size 6 shoes, and size 5 diapers.
• says he does not want to go pee pee in the potty. :o( Everyone says boys take longer, just trying to decide when I'm going to attempt it. I did it with Audrey at 25 months.
• has a projected height of about Papa's size, 6ft. {Audrey's is 5'4"...just a bit taller than me.}
  
• is still the best hugger around and has the biggest, cheesiest smile.
