6 year & 3 year Stats

On September 26th the kids had their yearly well checks.  Here's the results:

Audrey
Birth Stats: 7 lbs 11.5oz, 19 in
1 Year: 19 lbs 4 oz -- 23%, 29 in -- 50%
2 Years: 26 lbs -- 45%, 32.5 in -- 24%
3 Years: 29 lbs -- 51%, 35 in
4 Years: 35 lbs -- 55%, 38 in -- 25%
5 Years: 36 lbs 1oz -- 50%, 41 in -- 25%
6 years:  42 lbs -- 50%, 44 in {3'8"} -- 25%

 

Audrey loves to dance, sing, and is learning to act in her Talent Team class.  She attends class once a week for 1.5 hours where she receives instruction in all 3 performance areas.  They are working on a show that will be performed 3 times in December; at school, a retirement community, and a mall. She is loving 1st grade and doing well.  We have parent/teacher conferences next week, but I am confident based on the work she brings home and how she reads that she is right on track.

She is very excited to be a big sister again and is hoping for a sister. 

 

 

Owen
Birth Stats: 8 lbs 1oz -- 50%, 21 in -- 80%
1 year: 22.3 lbs -- 48%, 30.7 in -- 75%
2 years: 30 lbs -- 75%, 35.5 in -- 75%
3 years: 37 lbs -- 88%, 39 in {3'3"} -- 88%

 

Owen is all boy!  He always running, jumping, pushing, pedaling...moving anything, you get the idea.  He is learning lots and having fun in preschool.  He's definitely a Mama's boy, even though he's starting to challenge me a little.  He is 3 after all.  But he cuddles with me whenever he can!  He is really loving the idea of being a big brother.  He always tells me that it's a baby boy because he "needs" a brother. 

 

 

I of course like to look at the comparison of the kids sizes at the same ages.  Of course I've known from the beginning that Owen was bigger and probably always would be.  But if you look at the stats you can see for yourself!  At 3 years old Owen is 1 lb heavier than Audrey was at 5 years old, and taller than her by 1 inch when she was 4 years old!  We always talk about how if they were closer together in age Owen would definitely be the "bigger" little brother.  Audrey doesn't get it now, but that will be true someday!
