Alison's 1 Month Stats

Birth: 8 lbs, 20 in
 4 days old: 7 lbs 6 oz, 20.75in
11 days old: 8 lbs 1oz

Baby Tres is doing well!  In her first month of life she's already had a little cold.  It went away, but she seems to have gotten a little congested since yesterday's yucky dust storm stirring things up again.  I'd say she's a typical 1 month old.  Eats, sleeps, pees and poops!  She has already been sleeping for 4/5 hours at night before waking to eat.  Usually it's me waking her up to eat.  During the day she eats usually every 2 hours...but sometimes she'll eat 1 hour apart and when she has her long nap she'll wait 3 hours to eat.  She'll cry to eat, change her diaper, and now when she wants to be held.  But there are lots of people who want to cuddle her, so that hasn't been much of a problem...except when I'm home alone and attempting to get things done!  She has started to smile a little and have occasional longer awake times.

I go back to work in less than 2 weeks.  I'm sad as I've never had to leave one of my babies so young before.  But it is actually only 14 days over the last 5 weeks of the school year, so I know I can do it.  Hopefully between my mom and in-laws' schedules I will only need help from a friend or two to watch her while I work.  {Let me know if you want to watch her! ;o) }
