Life with ALL my Kids

Someone mentioned to me that once you have 3 kids the word "all" becomes introduced.  For example, when you talk about "the kids" it all of a sudden changes to "all the kids" or "all our kids" or "all your kids".  I have already experienced this by saying it myself and other people saying it to me.  So, here's what life has been like the past month with all my kids...
Audrey & Owen are just loving their baby sister!  They want to hold her all the time.  Owen asks every day to hold her, and at the beginning wanted me to take his picture every time.  Audrey is a bit frustrated that Alison is always sleeping and she can't see her awake a lot.  Audrey can often be found saying, "She is sooo cute!" and Owen often says, "I love the baby!"

Baby comes home

Easter was on March 31st this year. We had fun making cookies to give to friends who had brought us food during the first two weeks after baby came.  We also colored and hunted eggs, of course.

The Easter Bunny brought the kids some treats and matching outfits {no pics of those yet}. On Easter Sunday, all the kids looked so cute it outfits Abuelita bought them.  Alison & I haven't gone to church yet, so we took pictures with the kids after they came home (we have 8am church).

Paul is a great dad and loves to cuddle and kiss on his baby girl.  But he jokes that the baby is mine until she is about 2-3, then she's his.  He says they become more fun when they are that age and he can actually do stuff with them.  Of course he interacts with the kids before they are that age, but if you are a parent...more specifically a dad, I'm sure you know what he means.  He loves his babies, but he's just not a "baby" person.

Alison & I have mostly been hanging at home except for trips to the dr, a couple quick in-and-outs to a store, and driving big sister & brother to or from school.  We've started taking stroller trips to pick up Audrey from school.  This past Saturday we joined Papa & Owen and watched Audrey's soccer game.  It was a beautiful day!

So I guess I'd say that overall I am adjusting to life with 3 kids.  We'll see how things go once I go back to work to finish out the school year.

All the kids in the car

P.S.  Ok, I just have to add for any car seat crazy parents like me...yes, Audrey is in a backless booster seat in this picture.  Don't hate me!  Audrey & Owen are both in a 5 pt harness Graco Nautilus and both of them will not fit in the middle seat of our car with the infant car seat.  So, Audrey's Nautilus is actually in the 3rd row seat.  But she has to get in and out the back, so for ease in the school's drop off line where the teacher's open the door for the kids, she is only allowed to ride the 30 second ride to school in the booster.  {I drive the 30 seconds because we go to preschool right after dropping her off.} Rest assured anywhere else we drive she's in the back in her 5pt harness.

You are too funny! I would not have known anything about her car seat if you hadn't brought attention to it! Life looks like it is wonderful for ALL of you!
