1. I have always wanted a Spring baby, especially here in AZ. And after being pregnant twice though AZ summers, I was so glad that it worked out this time!
2. I don't know why, but I think it would be neat that our family would have birthdays every other month...January (me), March (Alison), May (Paul), July (Audrey), September (Owen)...and then actually November is our anniversary, so like a birthday.
3. Our first baby, which I miscarried had a due date of March 3rd, 2006. Even though we lost that baby before we met, we were blessed to get pregnant with Audrey not too long after. We had an ultrasound and found out it was a girl on...you guessed it, March 3rd...our first baby's original due date.
Audrey was so excited about March coming that she decided to take votes on when Alison will arrive. As you can see I voted for March 3rd, based on the special meaning that date has had for me that I mentioned above. That would have me delivering earlier than I have with the other two, but I can hope! Audrey came at 39 weeks (which would be March 6th) and Owen came at 39weeks 5 days (which would be March 11th), so I've never made it all the way to 40 weeks. I guess we shall see. In any case, in about 2 weeks we should have a baby in the house, still crazy to think about sometimes.I'm still working at preschool. Just trying to make it to Spring Break, but everything is in place in case I go early and miss anytime next week. I've enjoyed some friend time and gotten a pedicure and finally got a haircut. I'm all pampered and ready, because the pampering will certainly be going towards someone else very soon! I have been volunteering in Audrey's class every other Tuesday since October, but her teacher only put me on for one Tuesday this month. I think she was trying to give me good vibes for an early delivery! Audrey's teacher is pretty awesome.
We traded in our 6.5 year old baby gear that was a gender neutral green with little sheep on it. It is super cute, but after 2 kids and a couple years in storage it was definitely time for replacements. We traded in at Babies R Us and since this is our grand finale baby, I went totally girly.
Paul put the car seat into the car and we're getting used to the new set up in there. I set up the pack and play in our room where she'll sleep for a few months. Also moved the glider into our room from Owen's. I washed and put away newborn and 0-3 month clothes. I don't have any diapers yet, but I figure they give you some at the hospital to get you through a couple days anyway! I still need to back a hospital bag for myself and baby, but other than that I'd say we're ready!
Here's the last Baby Tres Bump picture...2 weeks ago at 36 weeks. And now we just wait.

OK, so I wrote my comment on your other post before reading this one, but technically, your post was about Baby Tres. :) I can't wait! I hope everything goes well for everyone!
