Owen's 9 & 10 Month Stats

We had to postpone Owen's 9 month well check due to insurance issues, so we just had it today--2 days after he turned 10 months. I still got his picture at both month milestones of course!

9 months - 6/10/10


Birth Stats: 8lbs 1oz -- 50%, 21 in -- 80%
2 months: 13lbs 13oz -- 93%, 25 in -- 98%
4 months: 16lbs 6oz -- 85%, 26.5 in -- 74%
6 months: 18lbs 15oz -- 76%, 26.5in -- 74%

10 months 7/10/10: 21lbs -- 50%, 29.75 in -- 82%


Over the past 2 months Owen:

• perfected crawling, and goes at turbo speeds!
• pulls him self up on EVERYTHING!
• has discovered how to show his emotions by screaming/grunting to show he's mad.
  
• loves splash pads and pools too!
  
• continues to love baths, but would rather stand than sit.

• has discovered climbing...great...at least climbing into the laundry basket has a soft landing. Standing backwards on Audrey's rocking chair while rocking it on the other hand, not so much (no pictures of that yet).
  

• still only has those 2 bottom teeth that came in @ 8 months
• doesn't nurse a lot since he eats lots of food.
• is an expert at sippy cups, so I'm starting to give him his milk that way.
  
• eats mostly what we eat now (with normal exceptions)
• tried lots of new food, like Gogurt popsicles and spaghetti!
  

• hasn't been the best sleeper ever since the 8 month separation anxiety milestone. Papa puts him to sleep by playing Coldplay and holding him. Mama usually holds him or nurses/rocks him to sleep. He wakes once or twice a night, just to be comforted and put down again.
• still takes most naps in his swing

Owen is generally happy, playful and just too cute! He laughs and smiles all the time. He wears 9-12 month clothes (some 12-18 month), size 3 diapers (soon size 4), and size 3 shoes. Audrey was crawling at 9.5 months, so Owen is not there yet. But he can get around! I think he'll start running immediately after he walks, just like his sister.
