Audrey's 4 Year Stats

I figured I should give Audrey's stats too!

3 Years 7/29/09: 29lbs -- 51%, 35 in -- ?% (she actually wouldn't let the nurse measure her last year, so I did at home)

4 Years 7/29/10: 35 lbs -- 55%, 38 in -- 25%

At 4 years old Audrey loves to:

• DANCE!
• sing
• play dress up
• talk
  
• use her imagination
• tell stories (and they're actually pretty good. She has a beginning, middle, end and uses transition words! I couldn't even get some of my 3rd graders to remember that!)
• be read aloud to
• play with Owen
• be in the water, her 2nd summer of swimming lessons and now she swims underwater.
• watch movies
• learn how to play board games
• puzzles
• draw, color, create any type of art project

Audrey is a very outgoing girl with a spunky spirit! She's not shy and loves to have fun. She has what might be considered typical 1st child characteristics like wanting to be in charge, thinking she's the boss a lot. She challenges Mama & Papa too, thinking she is so big. We have to mix up our discipline with her because things get old fast with her. Her competitive spirit can get her into trouble, but right now we can usually use it to our advantage. She's an independent girl and has been from the start. Having another baby really proved to me that she was one even as a baby. Audrey is destined to be a star, that's for sure. Whether a dancer or singer, a performer of some kind is definitely going to be part of her life forever. Not sure we're ready for where this make take us in the future, but for now she's having fun and that's the most important thing. She has one more year of preschool and then she'll be off to Kindergarten next fall. I can't believe it! But I know she is already prepared for that step. (Oh my, I really am about to cry now!)
