Owen's First Haircut

Owen has pretty much needed a haircut since the day he was born, this kid has some crazy hair. He was sprouting some wings on each side, the top was long and as he developed that baby bald spot in the back it was looking more like a comb over at times. Where the heck do you take a 6 month old for a haircut? I certainly wasn't spending $20 to take him to a kids' "salon". (Although, that is what we did with Audrey when she got her first haircut...at 19 MONTHS! She probably had just about the same amount of hair!) So, I did it myself. Yikes. Being the 2nd kiddo with a SAHM, and a boy, this is probably the first of many badly done mom cuts. I'm sorry Owen!

After this Paul started calling Owen his little "Lloyd Christmas". Which immediately made me want to cry, he did look like Lloyd Christmas. If you know what I'm talking about, you're probably laughing. So, Paul explained to me how you're supposed to cut boys' hair. We did a little more trimming and then I just decided I needed to leave it alone. Poor kid! At least it grows back.
