3 months: 15 lbs
No doctors appt until 4 months, so just weight from our home scale this month. He's smiling all the time and really trying to grab at things now. He loves the animal toys that hang from the handle of his car seat. They really make him laugh! Focusing, listening, and smiling are his favorite things. He is probably growing again as he's been going to sleep around 7 or 8pm, sometimes waking up to eat at 9 or 10pm, then not waking up until about 5am to eat, and back to sleep again until 8am. So, 12 hours with waking up once, sometimes twice to eat in between. Yay, sleep! Of course does that mean I'm sleeping more? No, it means I'm just trying to get more stuff done! Personality wise we can already tell that he is a bit more sensitive and needy than Audrey is, or even was at his young age. He always likes to have something to hold on to, especially if no one is holding on to him!
He still doesn't like to be left alone too long, so he's been sitting in his Bumbo chair at dinner time.
The other night he was in his swing and not happy. We knew he was tired, but put him in the Bumbo anyway.
Oh, I should also mention that he's been in size 2 diapers and wearing his 3-6 months clothes for a few weeks now. Note that most 3-6 month clothes have a weight of 12.5 - 16lbs. Uh, so he could have been wearing them before his 2 month appt. AND there is NO WAY he will fit in them until he's 6 months. When I started to put him in them they fit him perfectly, not much room to grow. I bet he'll be 16 lbs at his 4 months. Sigh, and I already bought all the winter clothes I thought I was going to have to need!
