Dec. 20th - 24th - Grandpa & Grandma Giberson (my dad & stepmom), Uncle Kyle, Uncle Will and his friend Michelle came to visit from TX--Will & Michelle from VA. We had lots of fun while they were here. We played games (of course), went to Zoo Lights & Desert Botanical Garden, ate a yummy Christmas Eve dinner of enchiladas and shredded salsa chicken burritos, and exchanged gifts because they flew back Christmas day. Mostly they just had fun with their grandkids/niece/nephews. Here's some pictures from their time here. (Click image to see it larger.)
Christmas Eve
We put out cookies and milk for Santa.
Sprinkled magical reindeer dust on the lawn for the reindeer to eat, it also helps Santa find our house since we don't have a chimney. :o)
Audrey also had something special from preschool. It was a little stocking with her name on it to go on her doorknob before bed. She was not allowed to leave her room on Christmas morning until this stocking was gone. Once it was gone it meant Santa had taken it off because he had come.
Christmas Day
Audrey sees her present from Santa.
She sees a note for her next to Santa's eaten cookies and finished milk.
It was from Santa and said her other present was outside. She really wanted to play in her "Magic Fountain Cottage," but it was too cold!
Auntie Rae Lynne (Paul's sister) didn't want to make the trip to the west side after getting off shift to have Christmas with the Neerings and we didn't go the night before either since my dad & fam were here. So, she came to our house for Christmas morning. We had her for Christmas this year anyway, so it worked out. She helped Owen open his stocking and presents too.
While checking out the stuff in our stockings, Audrey wanted some candy from Papa's because she hadn't gotten any. A comment was made how sad it was that all Audrey got was toothbrushes and panties. So when Audrey finally got to the bottom of her stocking and found giant sized "Nerdys", she was soooo happy!

Owen on Christmas morning.
Once Oma & Opa were back from the west side of town, we went for a quick visit to give them their gift. Of course Opa turned on the trains, Audrey's favorite! Opa built an all new train board this year.

Watch the trains go!
Then we headed over to Abuelita's house (my mom & stepdad's) for Christmas & dinner with them, Uncle Hunter, Uncle Paul, Aunt Randee, Jay and Auntie Paula (my stepdad's sister). The kids had way too much fun being spoiled, and my camera died so I didn't get many pictures.
Owen amazed by the lights.
Hope your holidays were just as crazy and fun as ours!
