New Adventures for Audrey

Audrey started her Dance Combo Preschool class on Wed. August 19th. She goes every Wed. from 10-10:45 until October 28th. I've been trying to get a picture of her in her little pink dance leotard for the past three weeks, but she always says no and runs and won't look at the camera. Someday. She has little ballet flats and a pair of tap shoes. She has fun and I can't wait for the parent/family performance at the last class. It's nothing fancy, just through Gilbert Parks & Rec...but the prices are very reasonable---and after all she's only 3, so I think it's a nice start. I plan to enroll her in some type of class every few months like tumbling, sports, possibly more dance. Just for her to have fun and eventually see what she likes as she grows.

Audrey also just finished her second week at her new preschool. I might have mentioned that it is only Tues & Thurs from 9-11, which is a lot less than what she was used to when I was teaching preschool last semester. But things are going well. The teacher goes to church with my in-laws and lives right across the street from them. So they are able to help take her/pick her up if needed, especially when the baby arrives. I have also not been successful in taking a picture of her with her cute school bag her teacher made her.

Another new adventure we can wait for Audrey to start is being a big sister! But her little brother just doesn't seem to want to come out yet. Technically, I am only 38 weeks & 5 days today, but we are all VERY ready for Owen to come. I've decided that being ready with everything is probably jinxing it and I'll end up overdue. Maybe he knows it's a holiday weekend coming up and he wants to wait till then so we can have more visitors??? All I know is that I am not sure I can get much bigger or I will just fall straight forward!!! My dr stripped my membranes at my appt on Tuesday, but so far no real changes. I've been having "fake" contractions for a few weeks now, but nothing stronger. Fingers crossed he'll arrive safely...soon!
