Back to work

My first official week of work went well. MWF are a bit hectic with 11 3 yr olds, TTH are pretty mellow with only 6 or 7. It will be nice to have the two weeks off for Winter Break and then start back fresh in January. A new start for us as a class. Audrey continues to do great in her class. You would have thought she'd been in the class forever, not just 8 days! She even fell in class and didn't cry. One teacher told her she was a tough cookie, so the rest of the day Audrey kept saying "I'm a cookie, I'm a cookie!" Paul, Audrey & I even attended the preschool's annual Hanukkah party on the 16th and it was nice. We've been doing a lot of Hanukkah stuff in class so I learned a lot.
Actually, on the first night of Hanukkah, the 21st, we even went to a friend's house to have some latkes, applesauce and jelly-filled donuts. Funny thing was our Jewish friend who we were doing this for ended up having to cancel because she and her daughter were sick, so we had a nice Hanukkah dinner anyway!
