{Side note--Is it strange that when I write posts I pull up my calendar and use it so I tell things in chronological order? Or is it just sad that I have to look at my calendar to remember???}
Papa & Audrey had a Daddy Daughter Date to go see Beauty & the Beast at ASU Gammage. I can't believe I didn't get a picture!!! I bought tickets before I even knew I was pregnant and would have a newborn baby at home, but it worked out as a special treat for them. I have seen the show with Audrey before the last time it was here, so I didn't miss out too much.
Alison was blessed on Sunday, April 14th. Again, I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of her in her blessing dress. It was the same dress Audrey wore, it fit perfect as they were both 5 weeks when they were blessed and basically the same size! She was blessed by her Opa, Paul's dad. And we had uncles and friends participate, it was beautiful.
I did my Parent/Teacher conferences the week before I actually went back to work. It worked easier so that I could take Alison with me and not be gone longer than normal times when I started working again. I went back to work on April 22nd, when Alison was just over 6 weeks old.

Audrey had her 1st Grade Performance on April 25th. It was all about ancient Egypt. We knew most of the songs by this point, she'd been singing and dancing all around the house ever since they started learning the songs. She was so excited that she got to be one of the featured dancers during her favorite song "The Mummy Rock".
Audrey's last soccer game is this Saturday. She wasn't sure she liked it at first, but over the past few weeks she has really gotten brave and done some great work! She hasn't made a goal yet, but has come close a couple times in the past few games. Not sure if she will stick with it, or want to try something new when the fall semester comes. Right now she says she'd love to take art lessons. We'll see! To the right is her 1st grade Spring picture.Owen is almost done with his first year of preschool! He hasn't taken naps regularly for about a year now. But every once in a while he will succumb and I will find him snoozing...

As you can see, sleeping by Alison is a favorite spot.
Often both kids want to hop into bed and get baby snuggles in the morning.
We have made it to the splash pad a few times already. Of course the evening we chose to go to downtown Gilbert it was windy and chilly, the kids lasted about 15 minutes, they were so cold!
We love to watch "Duck Dynasty" around here. We saw this while walking through the store and thought it was hilarious that the kids wanted to pose for a picture!
This is one of my favorite pictures! Big sis reading to Little Sis!
Alison getting some tummy time.
Baby Smiles!
Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week and Mother's Day was this past Sunday...let's just saw I got lots of spoils from my amazing preschool families & director and loved my school-made Mother's Day gifts from my kiddos!
'Til next month!
