Owen's 2.5 Year Stats {A little late!}

2.5 Years: 33 lbs, 37 in

On March 10th Owen turned 2.5!  Here's the picture I took a few days after, so at least it's pretty accurate!  At 2.5 years Owen:

• is talking up a storm!  Papa even understands most of what he says now, not just Mama!  Although Audrey is sometimes annoyed because he copies her a lot now.
• is basically done with naps...since he turned 2 he got into the habit of not wanting to take a nap every day.  Now when he does I consider it a VERY LUCKY DAY!!!  He still falls asleep in the car if we are driving around in the afternoon, but he doesn't transfer out of the car anymore.  boo!
• sings all the time, just like Audrey!  In the car, around the house...he loves to sing.  His favorites are "ABCs", "Old McDonald" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider."  And countless other radio songs that he can sing along with in the car!
• has becomed obsessed with his Little Einstein's Rocket, which is hands down the best hand me down toy from Audrey.  {Did you see this blog post?} He also wants to watch Little Einsteins ALL THE TIME! We have at least 10 episodes of it recorded at all times.  For months he would wake up and the first words out of his mouth were "I need to watch Little Einsteins."  He seems to have given it up a bit the past few weeks, but he still loves to watch it. 
• has learned how to "fight" with his sister.  Most of the time they play really well together, but man they sure push each other's buttons too!  Lots of tattle telling at our house these days.
• insists that he is not a "big boy"...he will say "No, I baby boy."  Mostly when Mama asks him, if other's do he will sometimes say "No, I little boy."
• wears 3T clothes, size 8 shoes, has been diaper free since mid-February and wears size 4T underoos!
• loves being tickled, still has the sweetest laugh and is Mama's little buddy.
