May 26th, 2011 ~ Audrey graduated from MorningStar Academy Preschool! It was a bittersweet moment, made especially hard with the fact that the school is closing after only 2 short, but amazing years.
We've been working on this performance for a couple months now, and trust me...they know the words AND the sign language. You just might not be able to tell! Oh, preschoolers!!! Gotta love 'em! Paul's sister recorded this for me since I was behind the scenes working. The first video is the beginning of the song, but she wanted a closer view of Audrey so had to stop and start again (that's Part 2). Then there's a video of her walking to get her diploma, and a final one of the hat toss! Adorable!
I left out the video of my little speech, it was less than 3 minutes but it was FULL of tears! I didn't even start out not crying. Public speaking is my worst fear, then all the emotions on top of that...I was done for! But I made it through without puking before hand or fainting during, so I'd say it wasn't all bad...but not about to share it with all the blog world! Plus, videos of Audrey are way cuter anyway. :o)
