MorningStar Academy's "Thankful Heart" Performance

On November 23rd, we had a little performance at preschool. First, the kids stared off telling what they were thankful for. Audrey said, "I'm thankful for the whole wide world! And apples." It was very "Miss America"! Especially the way she said it, it was SOO cute!

"I'm thankful for..."

Then all the kids sang "The Thankfullness Song" from the Veggie Tales while doing some sign language. We had the older group of kiddos (Explorers) do a song after it called "All I Really Need" by Raffi where they sang and showed off dance moves.

The teachers were behind all the parents standing on chairs so the kids could see us reminding them to do the sign language, to sing louder, to smile, etc. So, I didn't get any video. I still need to get a copy from one of the parents who did. After the performance we had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast for all the kids and their families.

It was a nice way to start off the Thanksgiving holiday break, and a little treat for Paul & my 9th anniversary. I wish he would've been able to come, but he was working hard!
