Our month started out with the Fall Festival at preschool that I just blogged about. Here's Audrey showing her school spirit before the party.
Audrey had her 2nd visit to our family dentist. I forgot to take a picture the 1st time, 6 months ago. Now that she's over 3 my dentist will see her so we don't have to take her to a pediatric dentist anymore.

Who doesn't dress like this to help out their Papa in the garage?
Playing outside on a rainy day, it really helped cool us down!
Owen learned how to stick out his tongue. I wonder who taught him?
Owen decided he would only eat if we gave him utensils. Now he can eat like the rest of us.
A fork for spaghetti...
and a spoon for cereal in a bowl with milk!
We had a week off school for Fall Break. We didn't go out of town, but we did get to spend some time with a lot of our friends. We were busy every day! It was fun! We finished off October Break with a visit to Vertuccio Farms.

My mom and I took Audrey to go see Broadway's "Beauty & the Beast" at ASU Gammage. She did so well at "Mary Poppins" back in February, we thought she'd love this one more since Belle is one of her favorites. Well, she fell asleep about 15 minutes to go. I tried to wake her, but she'd only wake when people clapped. She would wake up enough to clap and that's it. Afterward I told her I was sorry she missed the best part at the end. She said not to worry, she heard it all.

I also baked a few new things this month. Wow, a rainbow caterpillar cupcake cake and rainbow lollipop cookies in September and now these...
Candy Corn Cupcakes for Boo Breakfast at MSA. (made completely from scratch...this is BIG for me and I did it all by myself!) They were gone before the end of the party! :o)
I also made Cake Pops for the first time for a treat for our friends to take home from the party!
I had leftover stuff so I baked up another batch of Cake Pops to take to a party at my brother & sis-in-law's house. They were a hit!
Everyone got haircuts (except me---I'm still putting off my big Locks of Love Donation cut, who has the time or money???). You'd think I'd be over it since this is Owen's 3rd haircut. But there were a lot of clippers involved and it is the most hair that's been cut off at once. I feel like all his baby hair is gone. Flo (the Progressive Gal from the commercials) cut Owen & Paul's hair, I think Red Riding Hood cut Audrey's...gotta love Halloween weekend!

Can you see all that hair on the floor???
We ditched Audrey's pacifier at 13 months. Owen is 13.5 months and has developed a new obsession with it in the last few weeks. We could be in trouble because it is a life saver at church these days!
We also had 2 birthday parties and a bridal shower this month! I will post some Halloween pictures this week! October is just the beginning month of all the holiday craziness!

Sorry to break the news but life does continue to get busier as you get older. Of course, I "invite" trouble so to speak and find new ways to use my time.....oh well, and I have less time for reading these days too. I used to take the kids to the park and sit and read a book for an hour or two. It is hard to find time like that now.
Very impressive cooking achievements this month. I was happy that I made 41 cupcakes for all of our Primary teachers as a thank you (with cake mix and canned frosting and containers of Halloween decorations) and wrapped them with cellophane and a note and bow. For me that was a major cooking milestone. However, next year 9if we are still in the Primary Presidency) I think I might need that recipe for the cakepops. Those looked darling.
How did your program go? Ours was last week and I definately cried. I love that song "I know My Savior Lives". We have a 155 children in our Primary and most of them were there. It was great.
