Owen's 11 Month Stats

11 Months 8/10/10

These are getting a little harder to take, he just wants to rock back and forth or dive right off the chair! This is the best I could get!

At 11 Months Owen:

• is walking!!! First steps on July 30th, at 10.5 months. Each day he does more walking and less crawling. But when he wants to get somewhere really fast, he still crawls.
  

• has gotten his 2 top teeth, so 4 in all...2 top, 2 bottom
• still loves food, but has all of a sudden gotten a little picky. I can't get him to eat any non-baby food veggies except corn. He spits out carrots, broccoli, green beans.
• won't pick up slimy things to eat with his fingers. That is a problem with a lot of fruit and veggies. He'll eat them if I give them to him.
• is very good at eating dry food, Cheerios, Gerber Little Crunchies, Pirate's Booty, etc. Here is a picture of him eating my lunch of a sloppy joe because he chose not to eat his ravioli, which he's eaten plenty of times before.

• is not put to sleep in his own room all the time, for naps and bedtime. We rock him to music and put him down while just asleep. We're really trying to break the habit of him coming into our bed in the middle of the night, or having to fall asleep with him on the couch or in our bed.
• does whatever he can to climb on things to get higher.
• love his big sister.

• loves to push things around...chairs, ottomans, push toy, and Audrey's shopping cart.

• loves to smile!!!
