June 6th, Audrey gave her first talk in Primary at church. Of course this meant Mama wrote it and was going to have to whisper it to her in her ear and hope she said it. We practiced at home with her little microphone and she did great. But when we tried to practice it in front of her Oma, Opa, and Aunts, she got nervous. She did finally do it, but we weren't sure if she would do it with all those kids and some adults looking at her. Of course who was stressed about this the most?? Mama of course! I got stage fright for her! Plus, I kept almost crying while trying to repeat it in her ear and I wasn't sure how I would do on that actual talk. So, Paul did it! What a good Papa he is! Saving me like that. And guess what? She did it. She did not even get nervous. The Primary President even said that the Bishop was asking questions afterward and she raised her hand and had the right answer because it was straight from her talk. Audrey definitely has a little "star" inside her. She is destined for something in the spotlight. Not sure where she gets it from, her Papa and I are more "background" people!
On the same Sunday Audrey gave her talk, we finally had Owen blessed. If you're LDS, you know this usually happens on the first Sunday of the month after they're born. So, we're happy that we finally did it and that almost all of Paul's family could be here for it. My family is very spread out, but my Mom and brother Hunter came, so that was great.
This past Sunday I was asked to teach in Primary and start this Sunday. My class is the 7 year olds who are turning 8, so their baptism year. I'm of course, stressed. Even though the lessons are all there for you in a manual. It's just how I am. Now I feel like I don't know how to work with 2nd graders anymore since I've done preschool for the past couple years! But I am sure it will be fine. Especially with only 9 of them!
What is really keeping us busy this month is that Audrey & I also started Summer Fun Camp on T/W/Th with MorningStar Academy on the 8th. We had "Summer Garden" week last week where the kids learned about gardening, planted and harvested some vegetables, and saw a special presentation from "The Bug Lady". Too fun! Here are some pics from that week.

We just finished up "Camping Week" today, so I'll share pictures when I have some.
Owen turned 9 months on the 10th, once we have his 9 month appt I'll share his stats!
