Yes, I'm one of those "Twilight" people

News quotes about opening day...

"Bigger than the latest Indiana Jones. Bigger than the biggest James Bond. That's how big Twilight was yesterday."

"According to /Film.com, Twilight has taken a big bite at the box-office last Friday, conjuring up $33 Million on its opening day. We have previously reported that it has taken $7 million on midnight and early screenings but at the end of the day, it has raked in an impressive $33 million. If the cuirrent trend will hold, Twilight could conjure about $70 million on its opening weekend."

The title of this post came from a shirt I saw a lady was wearing at the theatre last night, I thought it was perfect! Yes, I braved the opening night with tons of giggly teenagers to see Twilight. Truth be told, if not for my friend who got tickets through a friend at her church (who actually knows Stephenie Meyer) I would not have gone on opening night. She promised the movie theatre that she could fill a whole house up, and so she did. I only had to wait in line to get into the actual show, ticket already in hand. The coordinator, Heather, also had a raffle with all sorts of Twilight themed stuff. One friend in our group actually won an "Emmett" prize pack that included Snickers--for his joking personality, a black, satin sleeping bag--for all those "camping" trips they went on, and Gummy Bears--his favorite snack...haha.

I had heard lots of people talk about bad reviews and what not, but it seems people who have actually read the books all liked it. I loved it, it is true to the book and was done beautifully. The setting is even more amazing on film. I really like Robert Pattinson as "Edward", and even grew to think Kristen Stewart was the right choice for "Bella". I can't wait for the next movie, as it is where we'll get to see a lot more about "Jacob". Who I think "Bella" should truly be with...but that is the unpopular vote. Go Team Jacob! haha..
