Halloween!
This was Audrey's first Halloween to trick-or-treat. A friend in the neighborhood came by with her son and we took the kids around a street that goes all out. We taught Audrey how to say "Trick-or-Treat" only a couple days before so I wasn't sure how she'd do. But after a few houses she was leading the way! Luckily after going up and down this one street she was done...probably because her basket was too heavy to carry anymore, she kept giving it to me. I had two super-cute ideas for costumes, but I just couldn't find the stuff to get either one put together. So, I went with this cute Little Red Riding Hood. Next year I am going to start looking ahead of time for fabric, etc and get one of my crafty friends to sew a costume for her.
Pumpkin Patch 10/30
We went to Mother Nature's Farm again this year to get a pumpkin. Audrey tried the hay maze this time and made it through all by herself! I just followed her around, letting her get stuck and try to find another way. She thought it was fun, especially when Papa was waiting for her at the exit! She liked the animals, but would not ride the tractor pulled hay ride. All of a sudden anything with big motors are not okay to get close to (like the fire truck she wouldn't get on at the tour earlier this month). She got to pick her own pumpkin to decorate, but it took her FOREVER to pick it out. She just kept trying to organize the pumpkins. Just pick one and put it next to another and made sure all the stems were facing up. Finally we got one for her and then we picked a big pumpkin to carve. When Paul was carving the pumpkin she did not want to touch any of the seeds or gooey stuff inside. When Paul put some in her hand she freaked...you may notice in the last 4 pictures of the collage.
