Easter Weekend

On Saturday night Paul & I went out with some friends and Audrey stayed with Oma, Opa & her Aunties. When we came to pick her up they were just about to start coloring eggs and oh, did she have fun! Her favorite part were the sparkles (glitter). She poured them on just about every egg and all over her hands.

Sunday morning Audrey woke up and put on her Sleeping Beauty gear (which she has done every morning for the last month or so) and found an empty basket and a trail of eggs waiting for her. It led her right to a surprise from the Easter Bunny...a Sleeping Beauty themed Easter Basket. There was a Sleeping Beauty beach towel, swimsuit w/cover up, sunglasses, flip flops, a Princess sticker activity book, and a Sleeping Beauty doll. It was a big hit, that Easter Bunny sure is smart! ;o) I guess he knew how obsessed Audrey all of a sudden has become with princesses, mainly Sleeping Beauty. Girls will be girls, none of this was put upon her at all. But she still likes to play dragons, dinosaurs, and cars, so she's getting the best of both worlds!

Later that afternoon we headed out to Disney on Ice: A Disneyland Adventure. Audrey LOVED it! It was fitting that she requested to watch "The Incredibles" that morning since it's all about The Incredibles trying to go on a nice family vacation without getting noticed. Of course when Mickey & Minnie are kidnapped, they have to become the Incredibles to save them. The best part of the show is that it was like a mini, fast trip through the some of the big attractions at Disneyland. Since it will be at least a couple years before we go, it was the closest we'll get for a while. After Disney on Ice we headed to Oma & Opa's for a tasty Easter dinner, yum!

Baby #2...Boy or Girl?
We have the big ultrasound this Thursday! This is exciting as I just started feeling the little babe move, we can't wait to see if Audrey will have a brother or sister! We'll keep you posted.
